History

The Flotilla was founded in January 1941. The six 'small' boats, which were during 1941 in combat, were very successful. They sank 3 Soviet submarines (M-78, M-94 and M-101). But in August 1941 U-144 had the same fate, when it was sunk by the Soviet submarine SC-307. The flotilla moved in early 1945 to Wilhelmshaven, where its history ended in May 1945.
