Fate

Sunk on 27 April 1944 in the Baltic Sea north-east of Swinemünde, in position 54.06,7N, 14.35,5E, by an air-laid mine in the British minefield Geranium. 9 dead and 35 survivors.

Loss position

U-803 was raised on 9 August 1944 and taken to Swinemünde. Wreck captured there by Soviet forces in April 1945. Was still present in August 1946, but final fate unknown.
