U-184 sent its last radio message on 20 November 1942 from approximate position 49.00N, 45.30W while operating against convoy ONS-144. The boat was posted as missing on 21 November after repeatedly failing to report its position.
Previously recorded fate
- Sunk 20 Nov, 1942 in the mid-Atlantic, in position 49.25N, 45.25W, by depth
charges from the Norwegian corvette Potentilla. (Postwar assessment)
Notes. This attack was actually against U-264 inflicting no damage.
