Notes. The attack by the British Liberator aircraft (Sqdn 120/S) on 15 Feb 1943 was believed to have sunk the U-225 but in fact was later proven to have in fact sunk the U-529.
Wolfpack operations
U-529 operated with the following Wolfpacks during its career:
Ritter (11 Feb 1943 - 12 Feb 1943)
Men lost from U-boats
Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-529 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
