29 Jul 1917 - Commonly listed as rammed and depth charged by HMS Halcyon off east coast of UK at 52°47\'N , 02°24\'E. This cause of loss should be taken with extreme care, as it is not consistent with UB 27\'s orders and evidence of a sinking is far from overwhelming. 22 dead (all hands lost).
