Summary

A citizen of neutral Spain agrees to aid in refueling U-boats, believing the torpedoes would never be used on passenger ships. When his son is killed after a passenger liner is in fact sunk by a U-boat, the Spaniard vows to take revenge on the guilty submarine.


Notes

Based on a novel by Blasco Ibanez; both the novel and the movie are noted for their anti-German sentiments. The film was remade under the same title in 1948 in Spain.
