A Word About Video Formats

Before purchasing any video over the Internet, you should find out what format it is in.

Different countries use different video formats. PAL and NTSC are the two main ones.

Once you know what format you require, you can check with the vendor regarding which format(s) they can supply.

Some video players are capable of handling more than one tape format, but this is not a standard feature.

It is possible to translate from PAL to NTSC and vice versa; there are vendors who provide this service for a fee.
