Erich Lothar Martin

Upon surrendering U-776 at Weymouth, England on 12 May 1945 Martin became a POW. On 18 May 1948 he was among the last U-boat men to be released.

From 1 May 1965 Martin served again, in the Bundesmarine (Federal German Navy), retiring in 1970 with the rank of Fregattenkapitän a.D.
