HMS Durban (Capt. J.A.S. Eccles, RN) made rendezvous with the river gunboats Cricket (Lt. J.L. Goatley, RN) and Tern (Lt.Cdr. M.H.R. Crichton, RN) off the Yangtse estuary. They then set course for Hong Kong. (1)
