HMS Cicala (Lt.Cdr.(Retd.) J.C. Boldero, DSC, RN) was damaged at Hong Kong by Japanese aircraft. Then scuttled in the East Lamma Channel (near Aberdeen) with a total of six depth charges being dropped alongside the hull by HMS MTB 9 (Lt. A. Kennedy, RNVR)
