25 Aug 1943
Around 1500B/25, HMS Torbay (Lt. R.J. Clutterbuck, RN) departed from Malta for her for her 18th war patrol (this is the 5th Mediterranean war patrol of her 2nd commission). She is to patrol in the Aegean.
She left Malta together with HMS Unsparing (Lt. A.D. Piper, DSC and 2 bars, RNR) which was to proceeed on patrol in the Adriatic. They were escorted out by HMS BYMS 2028 (Skr. J.R. Clark, RNR) until 1700B/25 when they all parted company. (1)
15 Sep 1943
ORP Dzik (Kpt.mar. (Lt.Cdr.) B.S. Romanowski) departed Malta for her 7th war patrol (6th in the Mediterranean). She was ordered to patrol off Bastia, Cosica.
She made the passage through the Tunisian War Channel together with HMS Uproar (Lt. L.E. Herrick, DSC, RN), HMS Ultor (Lt. G.E. Hunt, DSC, RN) and HMS Unseen (Lt. M.L.C. Crawford, DSC and Bar, RN). They were escorted by HMS BYMS 2028 (Skr. J.R. Clark, RNR). (2)
26 Sep 1943
HMS Unruffled (Lt. J.S. Stevens, DSO and Bar, DSC, RN) departed Malta for her 21th war patrol (20th in the Mediterranean). She was ordered to patrol off Corsica and the Gulf of Genoa.
Passage through the Sicilian war channel was made together with HMS Unshaken (Lt. J. Whitton, RN). They were escorted by HMS BYMS 2028 (Skr. J.R. Clark, RNR).

HMS Uproar (Lt. L.E. Herrick, DSC, RN) departed Algiers for Malta. She made the passage together with HMS BYMS 2074 (T/Lt. I.C. Hughes, RNR), HMS BYMS 2190 (T/Lt. J. McDowell, RNVR), HMS BYMS 2191 (???), HMS BYMS 2212 (T/Lt. R.A.L. Viner, DSC, RNVR) and HMS BYMS 2229 (T/A/Lt.Cdr. G.H. Clark, DSC, RNVR).

HMS Untiring (Lt. R. Boyd, DSC, RN) departed Bizerta for passage to Malta. She made the passage together with HrMs Dolfijn (Lt.Cdr. H.M.L.F.E. van Oostrom Soede, RNN). They were escorted by HMS BYMS 2028 (Skr. J.R. Clark, RNR). (5)
