History On 9 May 1942, the Mona Marie picked up eight survivors from the Mont Louis, which had been sunk by U-162 (Wattenberg) the same day and landed them at Georgetown on 10 May. 
Notes on event

At 01.25 hours on 29 June 1942 the schooner Mona Marie was stopped by U-126 with machine-gun fire. She was shelled with all weapons after the crew abandoned ship, but did not sink and was left behind as floating wreck.
