Notes on event | At 02.12 hours on 9 May 1942 the unescorted Mont Louis (Master Walter Bowen) was torpedoed and sunk by U-162 southwest of Trinidad. 13 crew members were lost. The master and seven crew members were picked up by the Mona Marie and landed at Georgetown on 10 May. | ||
