History Completed in November 1920 as Belgian Gallicier for Compagnie Maritime Belge (Lloyd Royal) SA, Antwerp. 1923 sold to Denmark and renamed Bogø for D/S Baltic A/S (Chr. Jensen), Copenhagen. 
Notes on event

At 02.34 hours on 17 Dec 1939 the neutral Bogø was hit by one G7a torpedo from U-59 and sank after breaking in two 75 miles east of May Island. Three survivors were picked up by the British trawler River Earn (Master P. Stevens), which was herself sunk two days later by German aircraft. All on board were picked up by the Norwegian steam merchant Rogaland and taken to Kopervik.
