Personal information
Second Officer Morrison was in charge of the lifeboats aft and the life saving appliances during the abandonment of City of Venice. A large number of troops and some of the Indian crew members were under his charge and it was entirely due to his example and efficient way in which he handled a very difficult situation that there was no panic aft and all his boats were safely launched.
