HMS St. Loman (T/Lt. R.C. Warwick, DSC and Bar, RNR) picks up 27 survivors from the British merchant Northmoor that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-198 north of Durban, South-Africa in position 28°27'S, 32°43'E.
