| Louise, Capt. Le Guyader, was halted by signals then ordered to abandon ship. The U-Boat crew then used the rescue boat of the schooner to proceed for an investigation of the vessel who was later scuttled with explosive charges. French seamen were freed and given a few rolls of bread. Sailing SE towards Ushant, they were soon recovered by norw. SS Kalfond en route from Barcelona to London and landed at Ramsgate.
