History | Iron-hulled bark with wood seathing. Built as Catharina for J. Veth, Amsterdam. Sold to J. M. Jonasen m.fl. of Sarpsborg in 1893, the first in a series of Norwegian owners. In 1916, A/S Glimt (Jacobsen & Thon, Fredrikstad) acquired the vessel, which was renamed Solglimt in January 1917.
