History | Built as Homer for Liverpool, Brazil & River Plate Steam Nav. Co., Ltd. (Lamport & Holt), Liverpool. In 1912, Uribe y Eguiraun, Montevideo acquired the stemaer, renaming her Olida. Two years later, the port of registration changed to Bilbao. A/S D/S Solbakken bought the vessel in 1915 and changed her name to Solbakken.
