| On Nov.15th, 1917, the navy trawler Naalso under Capt. Montozé was escorting the northbound convoy 315 of 25 steamers from St Nazaire and heading for Quiberon in company with 3 more escorts. Around midnight, when about 8 miles NNW of Yeu Lighthouse, she strikes a mine that when detonating heavily damages the ship who sinks in 3 minutes. The 11 crew members will be rescued by trawler Baron Daviliers and landed at Port Breton. (B.de Maisonneuve)
