| Eumaeus had sailed from Port Said in convoy HE6 on February 12, 1918. After she was hit, she was taken in tow by the sloop Crocus escorted by the American destroyer Fanning (DD-37). After the towing hawser parted, she was sunk by gunfire from Crocus.
