| Driskos, captain Silinos had joined the northbound convoy 430 at St Jean de Luz. During the night 28/29 June, when off Ile d’Yeu, he decided to leave the convoy in order to round the island on its west coast and join it back further north. Doing so, she encountered UC 71 who shelled at her and finally sank 25 minutes later, having received 15 direct hits. One of the greek crew was killed.
