Notes
Heinrich von Hennig became a POW on 23 Now 1914 when his U 18 was sunk near Scapa Flow. Hennig had hust made the incredible discovery that the main Royal Navy anchorage at Scapa Flow was very poorly protected and was enroute to base with this vital information when he was sunk. The loss of his boat made the German Navy assume the base was heavily defended.
