Collett, RN) had just come to periscope depth, when a submarine of the DURBO class was sighted bearing 310°, steering 185°, apparently exercising with a GENERALE class destroyer. This was almost certainly Corallo exercising at the time with the torpedo-boat Cascino. The British submarine was unable to gain an attacking position and was thwarted by the presence of the destroyer. | ||||||||
