A really terrible propaganda book from the former GDR. The author describes all U-boat men as criminals and uses the word 'fascist' for everything German on every page three times at least. But as it was the only book about the topic which interested people in the GDR were allowed to read up until 1989, eventually it sold more than 250,000 copies!!! |
