1 Nov 1942
Around 0900K/1, USS Sailfish (T/Cdr. J.R. Moore, USN) ended her 6th war patrol at Brisbane. At Brisbane she was initially taken in hand for a tender refit by USS Griffin (T/Capt. W.B. Throp, USN) but after about a week USS Fulton (T/Capt. E.C. Bain, USN) took over. Sailfish also spent two day in dock during which the bottom was cleaned and painted. Also one blade on the starboard propeller was renewed. (2)
25 Oct 1944
From 25 to 27 October 1944, USS Sailfish (T/Cdr. R.E.M. Ward, USN) and USS Parche (T/Cdr. L.P. Ramage, USN) underwent repairs alongside USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.A. Clarkson, USN) before they were to resume their patrols. (3)
28 Oct 1944
USS Sailfish (T/Cdr. R.E.M. Ward, USN), USS Parche (T/Cdr. L.P. Ramage, USN) and USS Pomfret (T/Lt.Cdr. J.B. Hess, USN) departed Saipan to operate as a coordinated attack group (Senior Officer T/Cdr. Ramage). USS Sailfish and USS Parche were to resume their patrols. For USS Parche this was her 3rd war patrol. They were ordered to patrol in the Luzon Strait.
On departure from Saipan, around 1200I/28, they were escorted until around 1700I/28 by USS Conklin (Lt.Cdr. E.L. McGibbon, USNR).
Around 1400I/28, USS Sailfish however had to return to Saipan due to defects. Repairs were then made with the assistance of USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.A. Clarkson, USN). (4)
9 Nov 1944
Around 1330K/9, USS Pampanito (T/Capt. F.W. Fenno, Jr., USN), USS Archerfish (T/Cdr. J.F. Enright, USN) and USS Searaven (T/Lt.Cdr. R. Berthrong, USN) arrived at Saipan. They were escorted in USS Swanson (T/Lt.Cdr. W.K. Ratliff, USN) by which had joined around 0630K/9.
The three submarines were then all taken in hand for voyage repairs by USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.A. Clarkson, USN). (5)
12 Jan 1945
Around 0915K/12, USS Devilfish (T/Cdr. E.C. Stephan, USN) arrived at Saipan from Pearl Harbour. She was escorted in by USS LCI(L)-371 (Lt.(jg) B.M. Daniel, USNR) which she had made rendezvous with around 0200K/12.
At Saipan, USS Devilfish was taken in hand for voyage repairs by the submarine tender USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.A. Clarkson, USN).
24 Mar 1945
At 0544K/24, USS Devilfish (T/Lt.Cdr. S.S. Mann, Jr., USN) is joined by USS Sprangler (Lt.Cdr. H.M. Edwards, USNR) which is to escort her to Saipan.
They arrived at Saipan shortly after 1300K/24.
USS Devilfish was then taken in hand for repairs to make her fit for onward passage to Pearl Harbour by the submarine tender USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.A. Clarkson, USN).
30 Mar 1945
At 0530K/30, USS Lionfish (T/Lt.Cdr. E.D. Spruance, USN), USS Parche (T/Lt.Cdr. W.W. McCrory, USN) and USS Trutta (T/Cdr. A.C. Smith, USN) made rendezvous with USS LCI(L)-1062 (Lt.(jg) J.M. Burns, Jr., USNR) which then escorted them to Saipan where they arrived around 1230K/30. The submarines were then taken in hand for voyage repairs by USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.A. Clarkson, USN).
7 Jul 1945
USS Devilfish (T/Lt.Cdr. S.S. Mann, Jr., USN) ended her 3rd war patrol at Guam. At 0405K/7, she had made rendezvous with USS PC-596 (Lt. J.C. Bigham, Jr., USNR) which then escorted her into Apra Harbour arriving around 0730K/7.
At Guam, USS Devilfish was taken in hand for a post patrol overhaul by USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.R. St. Angelo, USN).
1 Sep 1945
The submarine tender USS Fulton (T/Capt. A.R. St. Angelo, USN) and the submarines USS Manta (T/Lt.Cdr. E.P. Madley, USN), USS Dentuda (T/Lt.Cdr. E.E. Conrad, USN), USS Argonaut (T/Cdr. J.S. Schmidt, USN) and USS Diablo (T/Cdr. G.G. Matheson, USN) departed Guam for Pearl Harbour where they arrived on 10 September 1945.
