14 Feb 1942
USS Sailfish (Lt.Cdr. R.G. Voge, USN) ended her 2nd war patrol at Tjilatjap, Java, Netherlands, East Indies. She was then taken in hand for a short tender refit by USS Holland (T/Capt. J.W. Gregory, USN) as all submarines were required at sea for operations against the advancing Japanese. (1)

12 Mar 1942
At 0815H/12, USS Searaven (Lt.Cdr. T.C. Aylward, USN) arrived at Fremantle from patrol. She is then taken in hand for a tender refit initially by USS Holland (T/Capt. J.W. Gregory, USN) but later by USS Otus (Cdr. J. Newsom, USN). (2)

22 May 1942
USS Sailfish (Lt.Cdr. R.G. Voge, USN) arrived at Albany from Fremantle.

She was then taken in hand for a tender refit by USS Holland (T/Capt. J.W. Gregory, USN). (3)

4 Jul 1942
HMAS Voyager (Lt.Cdr. R.C. Robison DSC, RAN) departed Fremantle to make rendezvous with the tanker USS Trinity (T/Capt. W. Hibbs, USN) well to the westward of Cape Leeuwin.

Rendezvous was effected around 1530H/6, in very heavy weather, in position 34°25'S, 108°12'E. Commenced escorting the tanker to Albany.

Around 1030H/9, they arrived at Albany. HMAS Voyager had sustained engine room and weather damage in the rough seas. Repairs were taken in hand by the ships staff with assistance from USS Holland (T/Capt. P.E. Pendelton, USN).

24 Jul 1942
HrMs Tromp (Cdr. J.B. de Meester, RNN) departed Albany as escort for the US submarine tender USS Holland (T/Capt. P.E. Pendelton, USN) and the US submarines USS Seal (Lt.Cdr. K.C. Hurd, USN) and USS Saury (Lt.Cdr. L.S. Mewhinney, USN). (4)

25 Jul 1942
HrMs Tromp (Cdr. J.B. de Meester, RNN), USS Holland (T/Capt. P.E. Pendelton, USN) and the US submarines USS Seal (Lt.Cdr. K.C. Hurd, USN) and USS Saury (Lt.Cdr. L.S. Mewhinney, USN) arrived at Fremantle.

6 Aug 1942
USS Searaven (T/Lt.Cdr. H. Cassedy, USN) ended her 4th war patrol at Fremantle. She was escorted in by USS Isabel (Lt. J.W. Payne, Jr., USN). The submarine was then taken in hand for refit and repairs by USS Holland (T/Capt. P.E. Pendelton, USN). (5)

27 Oct 1942
Around 1800H/27, the submarine tender USS Holland (T/Capt. P.E. Pendelton, USN) departed Fremantle for Melbourne. She was escorted by the destroyers HrMs Van Galen (Lt.Cdr. F.T. Burghard, RNethN) and HrMs Tjerk Hiddes (Lt.Cdr. W.J. Kruys, RNethN) until reaching longtitude 125°E.

The destroyers parted company around 1215H/30 and arrived back at Fremantle around 0930H/1. (6)

1 May 1945
Around 0545K/1, USS Dragonet (T/Capt. J.H. Lewis, USN) and USS Spikefish (T/Lt.Cdr. R.R. Managhan, USN) made rendezvous with their escort to Guam, USS Doneff (Lt.Cdr. T.A. Graham, USNR). They arrived at Guam around 0930K/1, where both submarines were taken in hand for voyage repairs by the submarine tender USS Holland (Capt. C.Q. Wright, Jr., USNR).
