History | On 12 July 1943 the Italian submarine Bronzo was captured off Syracuse by HMS Boston, HMS Cromarty, HMS Poole and HMS Seaham. She was commissioned into the Royal Navy as HMS P 714. On 29 January 1944 she was transferred to the Free French. She served as Narval until 1949. |
