HMS Sicyon picks up 21 survivors from the Swedish merchant O.A. Brodin that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-57 earlier that day 15 miles northwest of Noup Head, Orkneys in position 59°22'N, 03°40'W.
24 Jan 1944
HMS Sunfish (Lt. H.J. Bartlett, DSC, RN) and HMS Vox (Lt. J.M. Michell, RN) departed Scapa Flow for Rothesay and Holy Loch respectively. They were escorted by HMS Sicyon (T/Lt. J. Bruce, RNVR). (1)
