HrMs O 19 (Lt.Cdr. A. van Karnebeek, RNN) departed Dundee for Holy Loch. She was escorted until Scapa Flow by HMS Crowlin (A/Skr.Lt. A. Smith, RNR). Off Scapa Flow HMS Cutty Sark took over the escort. (1)
27 Feb 1944
HrMs Zeehond (Lt.Cdr. Baron D.T. Mackay, RNN) departed Lerwick for Rothesay. Passage was made together with 3580 HMS Vampire (Lt. C.W. Taylor, RNR). They were escorted by HMS Annet (T/Lt. E.H. Andrews, RNVR) until the Pentland Firth when HMS Crowlin (A/Skr.Lt. A. Smith, RNR) took over the escort. Also HrMs O 19 (Lt.Cdr. A. van Karnebeek, RNN) joined for onward passage to Holy Loch. (2)
