HMS H 43 (Lt. A.R. Profit, DSC, RN) arrived at Plymouth where she conducted A/S exercises with HMS La Nantaise (Skr. S.J. Cory, RNR), HMS Kingston Chrysoberyl (A/Skr.Lt. M.A. Smith, RD, RNR), ORP Slazak (Lt.Cdr. R. Nalecz-Tyminski, ORP), HMS Ambrose Pare (Skr. J.W. Morris, RNR), HMS Olvina (Skr. J. Howson, RNR), HMS Cambridgeshire (T/Lt. H.F.B. Ashby, RNVR) and HMS Grimsby Town (Skr. W.A. Cormack, RNR). (1)

HMS P 511 (Lt. C.R. Pelly, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Plymouth with HMS Tynedale (Lt. J.J.S. Yorke, DSC, RN), HMS Melbreak (Lt. G.E.C.G. Baines, RN) and later with HMS St. Kilda (A/Skr.Lt. R.G. Utting, RNR), HMS Sheppey (T/A/Lt.Cdr. D. McNeil, RNVR), HMS Ensay (T/Lt. K.J. Reece, RNVR) and HMS La Nantaise (Skr. S.J. Cory, RNR). (2)

HMS Telemachus (Cdr. W.D.A. King, DSO, DSC, RN) departed Plymouth for the Clyde area. She was escorted by HMS La Nantaise (Skr. S.G. Cory, RNR) until 1500/1 when HMS Rushen Castle (T/A/Lt.Cdr. R.C. Warwick, DSC, RNR) took over the escort. (3)

HMS Seraph (Lt. T. Russell-Walling, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Plymouth with HMS Pearl (T/Lt. B.G. Barfoot, RNVR), HMS Gweal (T/Lt. P.E.C.R. Main, RNVR), HMS La Nantaise (Skr. S.G. Cory, RNR) and HMS Lord Wakefield (Skr.Lt. H.E. Dodd, RNR). (4)
