| History | HMT Herring was sunk in a collision with the French merchant Cassard 2 nautical miles north of #20 E Buoy, north-east of Blyth. The wreck has been dived and lies intact and upright at depth of 60m. Both guns are still in place. There is a large dent at the stern where collision must have taken place. |
