Around 1030/26, HMS Dauntless (Capt. G.D. Moore, RAN) made rendezvous in the Sunda Strait with the French sloop Amiral Charner (Cdr. F.M. Faye) which was to relieve her on the Sunda Straits patrol. HMS Dauntless then departed for Singapore arriving these around 0900/28. (1)
