The German minesweeper M 22 (685 tons) is mined and damaged off the Bokfjord near Kirkenes, northern Norway. The mine was laid by the Soviet submarine K-23 on 29 October 1941.
26 Nov 1941
K-23 shells the Norwegian fishing vessel Start in Lopphavet in position 70°25'N, 22°00'E. 7 members of the crew of the Start were wounded by shrapnel.
6 Jan 1942
K-23 lays a minefield of the Porsanger Fjord.
19 Jan 1942
K-23 fires two torpedoes against the small Norwegian merchant S?r?y (offsite link). The torpedoes missed their target. K-23 then engages the S?r?y with gunfire sinking the ship off Sv?rholdt in position 70°59'N, 26°43'E.

The Norwegian merchant Birk (3664 GRT, offsite link) is mined and sunk off Kirkenes, northern Norway. The mine was laid by the Soviet submarine K-23 on 29 October 1941.
12 May 1942
K-23 attacked a German convoy and fires four torpedoes against the German merchant Karl Leonhard (6115 GRT) off Nordkyn. The torpedoes missed their target. K-23 is sunk in the counter-attack.
