Northern fleet.

Lost due to unknown causes in the Kara Sea. All hands lost. K-1 departed base on 5 September and was never heard or seen again.

8 Nov 1941
The German merchant Flottbek (1930 GRT) is mined and sunk off the Mager?y-Sund after hitting a mine laid on 27 October 1941 by the Soviet submarine K-1.

16 Dec 1941
On 16 and 17 December 1941 K-1 lays four minefields between the Ullsfjord and the Lyngenfjord.

26 Dec 1941
The Norwegian merchant Kong Ring (1994 GRT) hits a mine in the Ullsfjord and sinks. The mine was laid during 16/17 December 1941 by the Russian submarine K-1.

28 Dec 1941
At 1228 hours K-1 fires two torpedoes at what is identified as a merchant of 4000 GRT off northern Norway in position 70°23'N, 22°26'E. The torpedoes miss their target.

6 Apr 1942
K-1 lays mines off the Kvaenangenfjord.

8 Apr 1942
K-1 lays more mines off the Kvaenangenfjord.

Also on this day the German merchant Kurzsee (734 GRT) is lost on a mine laid two day before in position 70°06'N, 21°00'E.

23 May 1942
The German merchant Asuncion (2454 GRT) is lost on a mine laid on 8 April 1942 off the Kvaenangenfjord in position 70°17'N, 21°21'E.

6 Aug 1942
K-1 lays mines of the Porsangerfjord.

11 Aug 1942
K-1 is damaged when she hits a mine, she is able to make port on the 14th.

12 Sep 1942
The German merchant Robert Bornhofen (6643 GRT) is lost on a mine laid by K-1 on 6 August 1942 off the Porsangerfjord in position 70°43'N, 25°58'E.

9 Nov 1942
K-1 lays mines of the Porsangerfjord.

6 Dec 1942
The German auxiliary patrol vessels V 6116/Ubier (350 BRT) and V 6117/Cherusker (304 GRT) are lost on mines laid on 9 November 1942 off the Porsangerfjord in position 70°56'N, 26°02'E.
