Shch-323 sank the small Estonian merchant Kassari (379 GRT) with gunfire off Ut?.
13 Oct 1941
ShCh-323 spots and tries to attack the German light cruiser K?ln escorted by the German torpedo boats T 2, T 5, T 7, T 8 off Cape Ristna, Estonia. She is however spotted and the attack is broken off.
15 Oct 1941
At 0641 hours ShCh-323 fires a torpedo against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 5000 GRT east of Fang?, Sweden in position 58°13'N, 17°32'E. The torpedo was a surface runner and missed its target.
At 0900 hours ShCh-323 fires a torpedo against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 3000 GRT east of Asp?ja, Sweden in position 58°22'N, 17°32'E. The torpedo ran under the target.
17 Oct 1941
Between 2138 and 2227 hours ShCh-323 twice attacked the German merchant Paula Faulbaum (1885 GRT) near Nyn?shamn, Sweden. In both attacks one torpedo was fired and in both attacks the torpedo missed its target. The Paula Faulbaum was however grounded and lost.

ShCh-323 attacked the German merchant Porto Allegre (6105 GRT) with a torpedo east of S?dra Finn?, Sweden off in position 58°15'N, 17°30'E. The torpedo however missed its target.

At Leningrad ShCh-323 is damaged by German aircraft.
18 Aug 1942
ShCh-323 sailed from Kronstadt for a war patrol on 18 August 1942, but immediately after her departure she hit a mine of the Seeigel minefield, and had to return to base heavily damaged.
