Most likely mined in the Gulf of Finland late October, early-mid November 1942. The last contact with the boat was on 29 October 1942.

ShCh-304 fires a torpedo against the German minesweeper depot ship MRS 12 / N?rnberg (5635 GRT). The torpedo missed its target.

12 Nov 1942
While operating in the Gulf of Finland the Finnish minelayer Ruotsinsalmi reports being attacked four times by a single torpedo on 12 / 13 November 1942 (1745 and 1950 hours on the 12th and 0227 and 0445 hours on the 13th). In the first three attacks the torpedo missed in the last attack the torpedo ran under the ship. This might have been the work of ShCh-304.
