At 1526 hours ShCh-119 tries to attack ' what is identified as ' a merchant west of Maoka, Sakhalin. 12 depth charges were dropped resulting in the attack being broken off.
Maoka is today called Kholmsk, in 1945 it was part of the Japanese Empire.
13 Aug 1945
At 1152 hours ShCh-119 fires three torpedoed against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 1500 tons west of Maoka, Sakhalin. No hits were obtained.
Three minutes later ShCh-119 fires torpedo against ' what is identified as ' a minesweeper. Once again the attack was without result.
