L-20 torpedoed and sank the German merchant Muansa (5472 GRT) off the Kongsfjord, Norway in position 70°52'N, 29°27'E. (1)
1 Feb 1943
L-20 torpedoed and sank the German transport ship Othmarschen (7077 GRT, former French Ville de Metz) off the Porsangerfjord
in position 71°07'N, 27°30'E.
5 Feb 1943
While on patrol of the Porsangerfjord L-20 attacked a German taskforce made up of the minelayer Brummer, the destroyers Z 6/Theodor Riedel and Z 31, the minesweepers M 361 and M 381 and the auxiliary submarine chasers UJ 1101 und UJ 1102. L-20 fires 6 torpedoes but none hit a target.
30 Aug 1943
L-20 lays a minefield off the Persfjord.
3 Sep 1943
L-20 attacked a German convoy off the Porsangerfjord and fires three torpedoes a what is identified as a merchant of approx. 3000 GRT. All torpedoes missed their target. After the attack L-20 was attacked with depth charges by the German auxiliary submarine chaser UJ 1209 and slightly damaged.

The German merchant Adolf Binder (3515 GRT) is damaged when she hits a mine off the Mager?y Sund, northern Norway. The mine was possibly laid on 23 October 1944 by the Russian submarine L-20.
