History

On loan from Royal Navy since 17 June 1941.
On 9 February 1942 she was torpedoed and sunk in the North Atlantic, about 420 nautical miles east of Cape Race, Canada in position 46º22'N, 43º42'W by the German submarine U-654 while escorting convoy ON-60.
36 of her crew went down with the ship and 34 survivors, including the wounded commanding officer (Lieutenant De Vaisseau Jacques Pépin Lehalleur) were resued by HMCS Moosejaw and HMCS Hepatica. The latter took the torpedoed corvette in tow, but she later foundered in position 46°34'N, 44°10' W on 10 February.
