James Wiggins Coe, USN) is believed on 28 September 1943 by a Japanese naval aircraft (954th Kokutai) and gunboat Karatsu (former USS Luzon) the Sulu Sea, off Panay Island in position 09º47'N, 121º44'E. Cisco was en-route from Darwin, Australia to her patrol area in the Gulf of Tonkin. |
