History | HrMs Abraham van der Hulst (Luitenant 1e Klasse Pieter Wentholt) was scuttled at Enkhuizen to prevent capture by the Germans. She was nonetheless salvaged by the Germans and recommissioned into the Kriegsmarine as M 553 but was sunk by a mine on 21 April 1944. More on this ship see this website (offsite link). |
