HMCS Miscou picks up 42 survivors from the American merchant Delisle that was sunk 15 miles off St. John's, Canada in position 47°19'N, 52°27'W after hitting a mine laid on 9 October 1943 by German U-boat U-220.

HMS L 27 (Lt. J.N. Elliott, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Bermuda with HM(C)S Miscou and HMCS Ettrick (T/A/Lt.Cdr. E.M. More, RCNR). (1)
