Around 0730A/26, the aircraft maintenance carrier HMS Pioneer (Capt. H.S. Murray-Smith, RN) departed Belfast for the Clyde where she arrived in the afternoon. She was escorted by the frigates HMS Mounsey (?) and HMCS Loch Alvie (T/Lt.Cdr. E.G. Old, RCNR). (2)
