History	Decommissioned at Cold Harbor, Alaska on 16 August 1945. Transferred to the USSR on 17 August 1945 being renamed EK-17. Returned to the U.S.N. on 15 November 1949. Recommissioned 26 July 1950. Decommissioned 10 May 1953 and transferred to Japan being renamed Kiri (PF 291). Returned to the U.S.N. at an unknown date. Stricken 1 December 1961. Scrapped in 1972.
