Decommissioned 6 December 1945.
Recommissioned after the war, basically in WWII configuration but with the after mount removed and a chart or training room fitted for UNTD Training.
Decommissioned for conversion to Prestonian class in February 1953.
Recommissioned as a Prestonian class frigate with penant number 305 on 9 October 1957.
Decommissioned 16 July 1965.

German U-boat U-1302 was sunk in St George?s Channel, in position 52°19'N, 05°23'W, by depth charges / hedgehog from the Canadian frigates HMCS La Hulloise (Lt.Cdr. J. Brock, RCNVR), HMCS Strathadam (A/Lt.Cdr. H.L. Quinn, DSC, RCNVR) and HMCS Thedford Mines (Lt. J.A.R. Allan, DSC, RCNVR).

25 Apr 1945
At Loch Alsh, HMS Trespasser (Lt. L.E. Herrick, DSC, RN) and HMS Tactician (Lt.Cdr. L.N.A. Jewell, DSC, MBE, RN) conducted A/S exercises with HMS Philante (Cdr. M.J.
