Notable events involving MFV 113 include:
MFV 113, used by the UK Sea Cadets in Bristol. During the early 1980's was used by Shirehampton Sea cadets to visit Flat Holm in the Severn Estuary. Later the Shirehampton Sea cadets lost their buildings due to redevelopment, they moved to a new Sea Cadet building close to Shirehampton Sailing Club on the River Avon (a tidal and navigable river leading into Bristol Docks).
