HMS Virtue (Lt. R.D. Cairns, DSC, RN) arrived at Casteloriso to clear the mine float. She was escorted in by ML 584 (T/Lt. J.V. Braine, RNVR). After clearing the mine float Virtue departed Casteloriso for Malta later the same day. (1)
