Around 0600L/23, HMAS Stuart (Lt.Cdr. N.A. Mackinnon, RAN) departed Brisbane to make rendezvous with the submarine tender USS Orion (T/Capt. C.S. Isgrig, USN) and her current escort USS Harmon (Lt.Cdr. K.E. Read, USNR).
Rendezvous was effected in position 26°32'S, 156°16'E around 1800K/23.
USS Harmon then parted company and set course for Noumea.
HMAS Stuart and USS Orion arrived at Brisbane around 1020L/24. (1)
7 Nov 1944
USS Blenny (Cdr. W.H. Hazzard, USN) conducted exercises off Pearl Harbour together with USS Tills (Lt.Cdr. J.L. Brooks, USNR), USS Harmon (Lt.Cdr. T.U. Weekes, USNR), USS ATR-26 (Lt. J.H. Kelly, USN) and USS Spikefish (Cdr. N.J. Nicholas, USN).
18 May 1945
USS Dentuda (Cdr. J.S. McCain, Jr., USN) conducted exercises off Pearl Harbour together with USS Harmon (Lt. R.W. Steel, USNR).
15 Jul 1945
USS Catfish (Lt.Cdr. W.A. Overton, USNR) conducted exercises off Pearl Harbour together with USS Harmon (Lt. R.W. Steel, USNR), USS Seagull and USS Stickleback (Cdr. H.K. Nauman, USN).
