Notes on event | At 07.16 hours on 11 September 1940 the unescorted Albionic (Master Harry Thompson) was hit on port side underneath the bridge by one G7e torpedo from U-99 and sank within 20 seconds about 70 miles south of Rockall. The master, 23 crew members and one gunner were lost. | ||
